in just one year.

Today is our baby boy's first birthday. In some ways it's hard to believe (like when I look down and see my utter lack of a waistline :). In other ways I don't doubt it for a second.

We had no idea what was in store for us at 8:15pm one year ago. We invited him to the outside world with love and expectation. Since then, our love has grown and he has exceeded our expectations by far.

We thank the Lord everyday for giving us Aed. He has changed us and made us better. He has filled us with love, new perspective, new purpose.

He is one. That is awesome.
