Winston

How do I say this exactly?

We have a friend who decided shortly after beginning his tenure with us that Aed resembled Winston Churchill. It started when Aed was eating dinner and Jon thought he looked like Winston because of the way he was sitting in his high chair. From then on, anytime Aed was in his chair we could count on at least a few Churchill quotes sometime in the duration of the meal.

We found this really funny and Aed picked up yet another nickname: Winston. If Jon came home to Aed eating dinner, he’d say, ‘Oy, Winston!’ much to everyone’s delight.

One day I came downstairs and found a giant picture of Winston Churchill that had been printed in the newspaper spread out on our floor. I sat down to take a look at it, and couldn’t believe my eyes when I realized that Aed does indeed look like Winston Churchill!

Do you see it? :)

We had considered dressing him up in a suit coat and top hat, putting a cigar in his hand with a little glass of whiskey on his tray, because let’s face it, that would be hilarious. But then we considered what might happen if that photograph was discovered by social services and decided against it. You’ll just have to use your imagination and revel in the awesomeness that could have been.

Our dear little Winston.

(not to mention Aedster, munchkin, big guy, little guy, nudey boy, stinker, Aedmatade, buddy, baldy, the list goes on..)
